I love the playing with colours in a wide-horizon type painting to create a vast expanses of space, with plenty of subtlety and dramatic contracts. The fourth picture, or the second painting, is one of the paintings I did in a series inspired by Lake George, a huge - mostly dry - area we often passed on our way from Sydney to Canberra and back.
